Westwell Enters into Strategic Partnership with Cenntro Electric (Nasdaq: CENN)

On August 26, Westwell signed a strategic cooperation contract with the global new energy commercial vehicle brand Cenntro Electric (Nasdaq: CENN). Both parties will work together to carry out multi-level, multi-field, and all-round deep cooperation on multiple types of new energy autonomous driving vehicles and intelligent internet-connected heavy trucks of Westwell, as well as the international operation of Westwell self-developed battery swap station, so as to jointly create larger commercial value.

Westwell and Cenntro representatives sign a strategic cooperation agreement during a formal partnership ceremony event.

The Qomolo brand under Westwell includes multiple vehicle models, such as the full-time autonomous driving commercial vehicle Q-Truck and the upgradable intelligent connected vehicle E-Truck. Previously, Q-Truck had achieved commercial implementation success in Thailand and the UAE, aiding users in enhancing operational efficiency and transitioning towards a greener approach.

In 2021, Westwell launched the Q-Truck automatic driving heavy-duty truck with battery-swapping capabilities, the E-Truck intelligent connected heavy-duty truck with battery-swapping capabilities, and the PowerOnair intelligent energy swapping service platform. Through battery-swapping services, the range of the vehicles was significantly expanded, extending the end-to-end coverage of transport capacity from the original 400 kilometers to over 1,000 kilometers. This effectively addressed the issues of inadequate endurance and limited transport capacity for new energy commercial trucks. Combined with an international unhooking mode, it establishes a transportation service network integrating new energy and intelligent technology.

Cenntro Electric (Nasdaq: CENN) is a globally leading provider in the design, manufacturing, sales, and market services of commercial electric vehicles, primarily focusing on urban logistics and last-mile delivery in Europe and the Americas. The mutual collaboration between Cenntro Electric and Westwell in product lines enables Cenntro Electric to achieve comprehensive coverage of new energy commercial vehicles, spanning from urban delivery to light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. Simultaneously, it links the entire road transportation chain, further activating the energy and financial markets behind logistics transportation. This collaboration will directly target the sale of over a thousand heavy-duty trucks in Cenntro's advantageous markets, as well as the development and operation of nearly a hundred battery-swapping stations.

Kenny, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Westwell, stated, "Cenntro Electric is a global leader in electric vehicles and new energy operations. Through this collaboration, Westwell is committed to the intelligent upgrading and green sustainable development of large-scale logistics scenarios. The cooperation between Westwell's new energy intelligent heavy-duty trucks and Cenntro Electric will strongly promote the technological advancement and commercial layout of both parties."

Peter, Co-founder, and CEO of Cenntro Electric, remarked, "With a solid market foundation in the European and American markets and a global after-sales service capability, Cenntro Electric's global strategy aligns with Westwell's. This collaboration holds significant strategic importance for both parties. We aim to integrate resources, leverage Westwell's innovative capabilities in the field of autonomous driving, and excellent products to collectively enhance market sales and brand awareness, thereby creating greater value for the global logistics intelligent upgrade."

Westwell will continue to focus on intelligent solutions alongside sustainability efforts. It will emphasize on autonomous heavy-duty trucks, intelligent connected trucks, and new energy swapping stations while maintaining a global strategy. The company aims to collaborate with more partners within its ecosystem to construct an intelligent driving ecosystem. Additionally, it plans to delve deeper into resource allocation and capacity network construction in container logistics. This effort aims to assist logistics enterprises in bettering their digital transformation for a sustainable development approach that is green, intelligent, and efficient.
